Honorary degree for Carreras |

JOSE CARRERAS, the opera singer who overcame leukaemia, received an honorary degree yesterday for his music and cancer charity work. Carreras, one of the Three Tenors with Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti, was made an honorary Doctor of Arts at Napier University in Edinburgh, which specialises in music and research into cancer.
